Three Poems
YOU ASKED!
Great big yes!
The program: to be
a body who loves
a warm-up.
At least flexibility moves.
Evolved, we’ve incorporated
everything. And with new
choreography and music,
never have a chance
to get bored.
***
TRANSFRUITION
Satin steps
turn.
Forward.
Point.
The arrow peeks.
Beneath the wind.
Too secret.
Or were there three?
Reason’s
lost its balance.
Falter.
Felt.
Hurt.
Broken.
A slice of red
is always nice.
This time of year.
***
SPRITES AND NYMPHS
view discretion advised all gossip
out of sight
pssst have you heard
state-of-the-art techniques take three-star creations
an ace of lace
forget flowers
and old-fashioned storytelling
the future of your body recharges continuously
for a barefoot ball gown
