Robert Bangert-Drowns
Robert Bangert-Drowns is a husband and father by vocation, an educational psychologist by profession, and a poet and photographer by passion. Growing up in rural Rockland County, New York with stints in Washington, DC and Michigan, he currently resides in Albany, New York. Though some of his photographic work features the mathematics and stories embedded in human architectures, he is especially drawn to the “natural architectures” of upstate New York, New England, and travel locales. He focuses on the tensions between structure and dynamism, silence and drama, and seeks to frame serendipitous synchronicities whenever possible.
