Maria Pianelli Blair is a multidisciplinary artist born in New York City and based in Eatontown, New Jersey. A public relations director by day, Maria spends her nights dabbling in ceramics, printmaking, embroidery, and analog collage. Inspired by midcentury culture and retro ephemera, her collage and altered photo work explores the concept of legacy, giving those immortalized in vintage photographs and images second life through surrealist interpretations of their identities.
