Dancing the Red Sabbath with Hags and Children
Mrs. Lucile dances all knob-kneed with Baby Benny
and her dentures fall out. They chatter away to tell the town
that The Devil just clubbed Charlie Daniels to death,
and he's playing some tunes that are sure to make
the young and old boogey and scoot.
All those close to birth and close to death head to the hills
where Lucifer himself shreds the fiddle and a bunch of
adolescents and seniors slap knees to the dark lord’s hootenanny.
Back in town, Ol Lucille's teeth get took up by a dog and
he becomes a bible salesman. Works his way up to a mogul,
and warns the towns folk of their sweet baby angels being defiled,
until he’s in charge of a big red button. A big red button
with a big red boom and a big red party where there's
no age gap to get into the hootenanny … praise the lord.
