Nick is an undergraduate in the visual arts program at Columbia University in the city of New York, where he studies painting. He works on collages made from found newspapers, magazines, and printed digital media to discuss history, politics, the news, thoughts, emotions, the city, and the day-to-day. In them, stories are told and retold by forms that fall apart and weave together to reform new visualities. Nick also paints on panels that explore color and space with shapes that can present themselves in various locations of the picture plane when viewed. He draws portraits and writes poetry as well.
